A teenage girl who was refused permission to spend the night at an Internet cafe in Benxi, Liaoning province, decided to drink the night away.
Cops found her passed out outside a pub in the city in the early hours of last Sunday.
After gaining consciousness at a local police station, the minor told cops she drank too much alcohol to kill her craving for the internet.

#Xi'an: Three women with heroin in vaginas arrested
Police in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, arrested three women trying to smuggle in banned drugs hidden in their vaginas on Friday.
The suspicious looking women, who belong to Sichuan province, were sent for a medical examination to a local hospital where doctors detected 60 grams of heroin hidden inside their private parts.

#Shanghai residents save cats from becoming food
Residents of Shanghai successfully rescued hundreds of cats from traders last Sunday.
Cui, a cat lover, found traders shipping cats in cages near her home and took a taxi to follow the truck. She also informed other animal lovers, and four hours later, they finally stopped the truck with 21 cages, each cramped with more than 20 cats.
Many of the cats were wearing collars.
The cats were going to be sold off to restaurants.
The driver of the truck was arrested.

They have begun to pelt him with soybeans from slingshots because the man, who lives on the fourth floor of an opposing building, spends his summer days naked. The man said he would start wearing his pants.

A regulation in Chongqing municipality will soon prohibit incestuous breeding among pigs, a common practice for independant swine farmers, after a number of young pigs, or grices, were found with deformities.
A pig in the city recently gave birth to six grices; one grice had only one leg while another was born Siamese with one hip and six legs. The law will be in effect on Aug 20.

#Chongqing: Man jumps into river to escape nagging wife
A 45-year-old man jumped into the Yangtze River from a ship because he was frustrated with his "constantly nagging" wife on Tuesday.The last words Zhou spoke before jumping into the river were: "I want some peace."
Everyone on the ship thought Zhou would drown in the roaring water. However, he swam to shore and the local police found him.
Seeing him alive, his nagging wife, surnamed Hu, 42, hugged him and promised to try and keep quiet.

Fuzhou: Man falls in drain, starts throwing out garbage
A garbage collector who fell into an uncovered drain in Fuzhou, Fujian province, chose not to scream for help, instead decided to chuck out waste he had collected to attract attention.
After falling into the drain last Tuesday, the man started throwing empty plastic bottles out of the drain, hoping passersby would notice and pull him out.
A nearby storeowner saw bottles flying out of the drain and called police, who pulled out the garbage collector.

Farmers in a village in Meishan, Sichuan province, recently found five mushrooms, each the size of a basketball.
The largest one was 30 cm in diameter, 18 cm in height and weighed 2.5 kg. Experts from the local agricultural bureau said eating those mushrooms could prove harmful.

A woman in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, installed a device in her house that shields cell phone signals in a bid to stop her husband from going out with his friends to get drunk at nights.
Then woman surnamed Huang, 33, said she was frustrated because her husband, the chief of an advertising firm, recieved phone calls from friends every night asking him to come out for a drink.
"Each night my husband would return home drunk, which is why I installed the device," Huang said.
However, on Sunday, her husband figured the reason for not getting phone calls off late and decided to stay in his office after work to recieve phone calls from his friends.

Jilin police last week arrested a man who hid in the mountains for 19 days after killing his girlfriend and her lover.The accused confessed to the murders, saying he saw them in a compromising position in this girlfriend's dormitory earlier this month.
After hiding in the mountains for 19 days, the man came out to the city in Jilin province to eat his favorite dish when he was nabbed.
The man said he was aware of the risk, but was craving the dish.
The kindhearted officers brought him the dish before taking him to the police station.

Shenyang: Molester feels sorry for victim, walks her home
A robber who tried to sexually assault his victim in Shenyang, Liaoning province, last Sunday gave up the idea after the latter told him she had a kid to take care of.
The incident took place outside a public toilet near the woman's dormitory in the city.
After the robber, armed with a knife, snatched the woman's cell phone, he tried to rape her. She begged him to let her go as she has a 3-year-old child waiting for her.
Hearing that, the robber bandaged her wounds and walked her to her dormitory after she promised not to lodge a police complaint. She lied.
Police have launched a massive manhunt for the medium-sized suspect, who is in his 20's.

Guilin: Woman who can't have sex with hubby wins case
A hospital in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, had to recently compensate a woman with 30,000 yuan after her husband lost the ability to have sex following a surgical procedure.
The hospital had already compensated Lin Liping's husband, left paralyzed after an operation in April.

A Beijing woman has sued her live-in partner for 160,000 yuan after he accidentally fired a small-bore rifle at her in January.
The man was playing with the rifle in his rented apartment in Tongzhou when it actually went off and severely injured his partner.

The family of a man who died of excess drinking at his own wedding in Chengdu, Sichuan province, is demanding a 1.2 million yuan compensation from the hotel where the reception was held.
During the wedding party on Sunday, the 32-year-old groom passed out after drowning a "few extra" glasses of liquor. Hours later, he was found dead in his hotel room.
According to forensic experts, Zhang died of asphyxiation. In simple words, he choked on his own vomit.
Zhang's parents said the hotel staff should not have left their heavily intoxicated son alone in his room and should have phoned doctors, which they didn't.
