#Chongqing: Pig inbreeding outlawed after gnarly piglets found

A regulation in Chongqing municipality will soon prohibit incestuous breeding among pigs, a common practice for independant swine farmers, after a number of young pigs, or grices, were found with deformities.

A pig in the city recently gave birth to six grices; one grice had only one leg while another was born Siamese with one hip and six legs. The law will be in effect on Aug 20.
