Jilin: Killer comes out of hiding to eat favorite dish

Jilin police last week arrested a man who hid in the mountains for 19 days after killing his girlfriend and her lover.

The accused confessed to the murders, saying he saw them in a compromising position in this girlfriend's dormitory earlier this month.

After hiding in the mountains for 19 days, the man came out to the city in Jilin province to eat his favorite dish when he was nabbed.

The man said he was aware of the risk, but was craving the dish.

The kindhearted officers brought him the dish before taking him to the police station.
